Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb ginger
  • 2 oranges
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 2 limes
  • 1/4 pack yeast
  • 1 slice toast
  • 1 cup rose wine

Instructions

  1. Blend ginger with thinly peeled oranges, limes, and sugar in a pot.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the liquid and allow it to cool.
  4. Stir in rose wine, lime juice, orange juice, yeast, and toasted slice.
  5. Ferment the mixture at room temperature for one week.
  6. After fermentation, strain again and bottle the wine.
  7. Seal bottles tightly with corks.
