Ingredients

  • 3-4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut lengthwise into 2 inch pieces
  • 15 Pitted prunes
  • 1 small onion, peeled but uncut
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place potatoes, prunes and whole onion in a pot half filled with water and cook until potatoes and prunes are very soft ("mushy"), about 25 minutes. Stir periodically.
  2. Remove onion and season to taste with salt.
