Good Quick Pickles

Instructions
- Drain pickles and rinse.
- Wash in cold water and drain.
- Cut in quarters; put back in jar.
- Cook sugar, vinegar, water and spice.
- Bring to boil; remove from heat and cool.
- Pour over pickles; cap and refrigerate for 3 days.
