A refreshing homemade sweet tea with lemon, perfect for hot days or entertaining guests, offering a balance of sweet, tart, and aromatic flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 family sized tea bags
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice concentrate
  • water

Instructions

  1. Add 2 cups of water to the tea bags in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags from the water.
  4. Add sugar to the hot tea mixture and stir until dissolved.
  5. Pour the sweetened tea into a 2-quart pitcher.
  6. Add water to fill the pitcher to 2 quarts.
  7. Add lemon juice concentrate to the pitcher.
  8. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  9. Chill the tea and serve cold.
