Granny'S Pecan Roll

Instructions
- Combine marshmallow cream, sugar and vanilla, kneading the last of the sugar gradually.
- Shape into 8 rolls, 1 inch in diameter.
- Wrap and put in freezer overnight.
- Melt caramels in double boiler, adding a teaspoon of water at a time, until thick sauce-like consistency and all caramels are melted.
- Remove from heat, but keep over hot water.
- Dip rolls into caramels, then roll in chopped pecans.
- Press firmly into caramel with hands.
- Let cool.
- Keep in refrigerator.
