Greasy Fried Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 medium Irish potatoes, sliced horizontally
  • 1/2 c. onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice potatoes; do not peel.
  2. Heat Crisco in cast iron skillet.
  3. Saute onions; add potatoes.
  4. Over medium heat, fry until golden brown.
  5. Do not overcook.
  6. Season to taste.
