Ingredients

  • 7 qt. fresh green beans
  • 7 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Snap and wash green beans.
  2. Fill quart jars with green beans, leaving appropriate headspace.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of salt per quart jar.
  4. Fill jars with water to the neck of the jar.
  5. Put 1 1/2 quarts of water in a pressure canner.
  6. Process the jars in the pressure canner for 15 minutes at 10 pounds of pressure.
