Ingredients

  • 5 lb. ground meat (beef and/or venison)
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 2 1/2 tsp. hickory salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Let stand in refrigerator 24 hours.
  3. Divide into 5 rolls, cracker size.
  4. Bake on a rack in a shallow pan at 150°F for 8 hours.
  5. Cool and refrigerate or freeze.
  6. Freezes well. Perfect with cheese and crackers.
  7. Does not slice well until cold.
