Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) Herman starter
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml). shortening
  • 3/4 tsp (4 ml). salt
  • 2 tsp (10 ml). sugar
  • 2 cups (475 ml) bread flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp (7 ml). yeast

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to bread machine in order listed.
  2. Follow manufactures instructions to bake or select dough cycle and finish loaf by hand.
