Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet yeast
  • 1 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Mix 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of warm water, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 packet of yeast in a container.
  2. Stir the mixture daily for five days.
  3. After five days, feed the starter again with 2 cups of flour, 2 cups of warm water, and 1/4 cup of sugar.
  4. Continue stirring daily for another five days.
  5. Once the starter is bubbly and active, divide it and use for baking or store for future use.
