Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 6 potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 6 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 onions, peeled and sliced
  • 6 pats butter
  • salt, pepper and soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cover rectangular cookie sheet with 2 layers of aluminum foil. Season meat with salt, pepper and soy sauce as desired.
  2. Shape into large patties and place on pan.
  3. Top each patty with sliced potatoes, carrots, onions and 1 pat of butter.
  4. Cover hobo stacks with aluminum foil and seal edges. Bake at 400° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  5. Makes 6 servings.
