Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp cocoa
  • few grains salt
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 c boiling water
  • 4 c milk

Instructions

  1. Scald milk.
  2. Mix cocoa, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add 1/2 cup boiling water; boil for 3 minutes.
  4. Add milk; heat slowly to just below boiling point.
  5. Beat for 2 minutes.
