Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. whole nuts
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Line baking sheet with foil.
  2. Butter the foil.
  3. In a thick skillet, melt margarine; add sugar and mix well.
  4. Add nuts.
  5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, about 9 minutes or until sugar melts and turns to a rich brown color.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  7. Spread onto cookie sheet.
  8. Cool; break into small pieces.
