- Heat cooking oil to a medium heat
- Mix all ingredients except buttermilk thuroghly
- Once ingredients are mixed start adding buttermilk and stirring with hands until dough is a nice sticky texture it should stick to your hands a little bit once mixed to a nice semi sticky texture start pulling desired sized peices apart pulling and stretching to a thickness of about a 1/4 in.
- thickness and drop into heated cooking oil and frying to an nice golden color.
- Remove fried bread from oil and set on paper towles to cool and serve with your favorite topping or meal usually topped with honey or served with a nice stew or soup
