Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 pkg. (8) small shortcakes

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet.
  2. Add pineapple and sugar, stirring until sugar melts.
  3. Dip one side of each shortcake into mixture. Place each on plate, coated side up.
  4. Spoon pineapple from skillet onto each.
