Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 sticks oleo, softened
  • 1 c. mashed potatoes or 1/2 c. instant potatoes in 1 c. hot water
  • 7 c. plain flour

Instructions

  1. Stir the yeast into the 1 1/2 cups warm water.
  2. Mix oleo, sugar, salt and potatoes.
  3. Add flour, then water with yeast as needed; mix well.
  4. Place in greased bowl; cover with damp cloth. Place in refrigerator overnight.
  5. Roll out biscuits as needed. Let rise.
  6. Bake at 350° until golden brown.
