Ingredients

  • 1 large can or fresh fruit
  • 1 small box jello
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c water
  • 1 pie shell

Instructions

  1. Blend water, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan and cook until thick and clear.
  2. Add the small box of jello to the cooked mixture and stir until dissolved.
  3. Let the mixture cool completely.
  4. Strain the canned fruit (if using) and pour the fruit into the prepared pie shell.
  5. Pour the cooled jello mixture over the strained fruit in the pie shell.
  6. Chill the pie until the jello is set, then top with Cool Whip if desired.
