Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco shortening
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. coconut or butterscotch flavoring
  • 2 c. plain flour

Instructions

  1. Cream the shortening and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition.
  3. Stir in flavoring and flour. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
  4. Bake 1 hour at around 325°.
  5. Do not open oven while baking!
