Kahlua Mocha Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. Kahlua
  • 2 Tbsp. instant coffee
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Line bottom of a long Pyrex baking dish (or a small cookie sheet) with foil and set aside.
  2. In a 2-quart pan, combine sugar, butter, milk, Kahlua and coffee.
  3. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil 5 minutes and remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
  5. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread into pan.
  6. Chill until firm.
