Ingredients

  • 2 qt. popped corn
  • 1 1/3 c. pecans
  • 2/3 c. almonds
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. Karo clear syrup

Instructions

  1. Combine the popped corn, pecans, and almonds on a cookie sheet.
  2. Combine sugar, oleo, and Karo syrup in a saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil for 10 to 15 minutes or until the mixture turns a light caramel color.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in vanilla.
  7. Pour the caramel mixture over the popped corn and nuts.
  8. Mix to coat well.
  9. Spread to dry.
  10. Break apart to serve.
