Instructions
- Soak the pecans in the bourbon overnight.
- Grate the butter into the powdered sugar.
- Use fork to blend, not hands.
- Add nuts and mix well.
- Make into small balls using powdered sugar to keep hands from sticking (the mixture is very soft so I keep it in the refrigerator and do a small amount at a time).
- Freeze balls.
- Dip into melted semi-sweet chocolate and paraffin.
- (I use about 1/4 of a bar of paraffin to one large bag of chips; use only real chocolate chips.)
- Let cool and set.
- Store in a tin in a cool place.
- These are definitely an "adult only" confection.
