King Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 can salmon
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 pkg. gelatin, dissolved in 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Drain salmon and reserve liquid.
  2. Flake salmon.
  3. Soften gelatin in cold water.
  4. Combine salmon liquid, catsup and vinegar; heat to boiling.
  5. Add softened gelatin to hot mixture.
  6. Gently blend salmon, celery and onion with hot mixture.
  7. Stir in mayonnaise.
  8. Pour into fish-shaped gelatin mold.
  9. (Crown with a foil crown!)
