Leaf Lettuce Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 2 chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients but onions in small saucepan; cook on low until thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. Add onions just before pouring on lettuce.
  3. This dressing should be made just before serving or it tends to wilt lettuce.
