Ingredients

  • 1 pkg lemon pudding
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 1/2 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, mix lemon pudding, sugar, and 1/2 cup water.
  2. Blend in egg yolks and 2 1/2 cups of water, then cook as directed on the pudding box.
  3. Remove from heat and blend in lemon juice and butter.
  4. Cool for 5 minutes, stirring twice.
  5. Pour into a cooled, baked 10-inch pie shell.
