Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. frozen lima beans
  • 1 can water chestnuts, cut in small pieces
  • 4 tsp. dill seed or weed
  • 1 small bottle Italian dressing (may be fat-free)
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the lima beans until tender.
  2. Drain the cooked beans.
  3. Add water chestnuts and dill seed or weed to the beans.
  4. Marinate in Italian dressing for 1 hour or more.
  5. Optionally, add chopped celery and green onion to taste.
