Liver Cake For Dogs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. liver
  • 1 c. cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Trim liver and remove gristle.
  2. Cut into small pieces and puree in a blender.
  3. Pour into a bowl and add cornmeal and garlic salt.
  4. Blend well.
  5. Pour into a greased 9 x 9-inch cake pan. (Use a cookie sheet for thinner cake).
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
  8. Cut into squares, like brownies.
  9. Wrap each piece in foil and freeze.
