Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow Jiffy cake mix or 1/2 box regular yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pie filling (apple, cherry, peach or blueberry)

Instructions

  1. Pour the pie filling into a buttered deep-dish pie pan.
  2. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pie filling.
  3. Slice the butter evenly and place it over the cake mix.
  4. Bake at 350°F until the crust is brown, approximately 30 minutes.
  5. Stir the mixture once during baking.
  6. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
