Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or oleo
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

Instructions

  1. Melt oleo or butter.
  2. Add sugar and vinegar; bring to a boil. Set
  3. aside to cool.
  4. Beat eggs, vanilla and salt until lemon colored.
  5. Stir
  6. into
  7. sugar mixture slowly, making sure the eggs do not
  8. cook
  9. or
  10. pie will be lumpy.
  11. Pour into pie shell.
  12. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes.
