Ingredients

  • 1 chopped bell pepper
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 (2 lb.) jar tomato sauce (Healthy Choice, Ragu)
  • 1 link Italian flavor turkey smoked sausage
  • 3 c. rainbow rotini or veggie pinwheels
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. nonfat Mozzarella, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook ground turkey and bell pepper; drain.
  2. Slice sausage like pepperoni.
  3. Add sauce and sausage.
  4. Simmer while cooking macaroni per package directions.
  5. Pour sauce into large baking dish.
  6. Drain macaroni; add to baking dish.
  7. Add Mozzarella and stir; reserve some Mozzarella for the top.
  8. Bake, uncovered, at 400° until bubbly, about 20 minutes.
