Ingredients

  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon
  • 8 eggs

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and butter together.
  2. Add eggs and flour alternately beating after each addition.
  3. Pour into 10-inch tube pan which has been greased and floured.
  4. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
