Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate bits
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 12 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Combine evaporated milk, sugar and salt in saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils; boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat; add chocolate and vanilla.
  4. Stir until melted.
  5. Pour half of mixture in waxed-paper-lined 8 x 8-inch dish.
  6. Press marshmallows into chocolate.
  7. Cover with nuts, then, top with remaining chocolate mixture.
  8. Cool and cut into squares.
