Ingredients

  • 4 cups mayhaw juice
  • 5 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Measure the sugar and set it aside.
  2. Stir Sure-Jell into the mayhaw juice and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  3. Add the sugar and continue boiling until a full rolling boil that cannot be stirred down is reached.
  4. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat and let it set for a minute.
  5. Skim the foam and pour the hot jelly into sterilized jars, then seal.
