Mexican Pasta Shells

Ingredients

  • 12 pasta jumbo shells, cooked and drained
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar medium or mild picante sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 can French fried onion rings

Instructions

  1. Brown beef and drain.
  2. Combine picante sauce, water and tomato sauce.
  3. Add to ground beef.
  4. Add green chilies, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup French fried onions.
  5. Stuff shells with ground beef mixture.
