Ingredients

  • 3 c. powdered dry milk
  • 2 Tbsp. melted clarified butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp. rose water
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. chopped pistachio or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the sugar in water and cook in a saucepan until it forms a thick syrup.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Add butter.
  4. Gradually add the powdered milk, stirring constantly.
  5. Return to heat (very low burner) and stir for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add rose water.
  7. Stir (batter is thick).
