Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. mint pure extract
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 pkg. plain gelatin
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 4 cups hot water
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O

Instructions

  1. Dissolve plain gelatin in 1 cup cold water.
  2. Dissolve flavored gelatin and sugar in 4 cups hot water.
  3. Add the cold gelatin mixture and mint extract to the hot mixture and stir well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  5. Cool and refrigerate until set.
  6. Cut into squares or use cookie cutters to shape.
  7. May substitute other flavors of Jell-O, omitting mint extract if desired.
