Mixed Bean Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Water
  • 1/2 teaspoons Dried Basil
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt To Taste
  • 3/4 cups Fresh Green Beans, Ends Snapped Off
  • 4 spears Asparagus, Chopped Into Pieces
  • 4 whole Grape Tomatoes Sliced
  • 3/4 cups Canned Or Pre-cooked Garbanzo And Pinto Beans (or Any Other Preferable Bean)

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a medium sized pan. Add in spices and stir until water boils. Add in green beans and cook for three minutes. Then add in chopped asparagus and cook until done, about 5 minutes longer. Stir in beans and tomatoes. Pour in tomato sauce and heat. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
