Mixed Bean Vegetable Salad
Ingredients
- 1/2 cups Water
- 1/2 teaspoons Dried Basil
- 1/4 teaspoons Ground Pepper ⓘ
- 1 pinch Salt To Taste ⓘ
- 3/4 cups Fresh Green Beans, Ends Snapped Off ⓘ
- 4 spears Asparagus, Chopped Into Pieces ⓘ
- 4 whole Grape Tomatoes Sliced ⓘ
- 3/4 cups Canned Or Pre-cooked Garbanzo And Pinto Beans (or Any Other Preferable Bean) ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat water in a medium sized pan. Add in spices and stir until water boils. Add in green beans and cook for three minutes. Then add in chopped asparagus and cook until done, about 5 minutes longer. Stir in beans and tomatoes. Pour in tomato sauce and heat. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
