A refreshing fruit punch with citrus and pineapple flavors, topped with ginger ale and sherbet, perfect for gatherings and warm weather celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz.) packages Jell-O
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans frozen lemonade
  • 2 (48 oz.) cans pineapple juice
  • 2 quarts ginger ale or 7-Up
  • 1/2 gallon sherbet

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the Jell-O in 4 cups of boiling water.
  2. Dissolve the sugar in 6 cups of hot water and add to the Jell-O mixture.
  3. Add the frozen orange juice and lemonade (diluted according to directions).
  4. Add the pineapple juice.
  5. Dilute with additional water if the mixture is too strong to taste.
  6. Chill the mixture for several hours.
  7. When ready to serve, add the ginger ale and pour over the sherbet placed in the punch bowl.
