Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 scant tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 cup light cream or half and half

Instructions

  1. Stir the sugar, cocoa, and cream together in a pot and place on heat.
  2. Cook without stirring until the mixture forms a firm soft ball in cold water.
  3. Remove from heat and add a chunk of butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  4. Beat until the mixture can be rolled into balls.
  5. Add nuts if desired.
