Mulled Tea Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. boiling water
  • 6 tea bags
  • 3 c. apple juice
  • 1 (1 lb.) jar whole spiced crab apples
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Pour boiling water over tea bags.
  2. Cover and
  3. let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags.
  5. Heat apple juice, syrup drained from crab apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in saucepan.
  6. Simmer 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  7. Combine with tea.
  8. Garnish each tea serving with crab apple and cinnamon stick.
  9. Makes 2 quarts.
