Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh fruit, blended or frozen
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons arrowroot

Instructions

  1. Blend the fruit and apple juice in a blender until smooth.
  2. Simmer the blended mixture for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix water and arrowroot until smooth, then add to the fruit mixture.
  4. Simmer for an additional 2 minutes or until the syrup thickens.
  5. Cool the syrup and serve. Note: Bananas do not work well in this syrup.
