- Let warm milk, yeast and 2 tablespoons of sugar stand until yeast comes to the top, about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add enough flour (approximately 2 1/2 cups) for not real thin or thick. Let rise until double.
- Add egg yolks, whole egg, lemon rind and juice, salt, 3/4 cup sugar and shortening.
