Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk or more

Instructions

  1. Preheat pan to 375.
  2. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. Cut in shortening.
  4. Add egg and milk.
  5. Knead lightly and roll out 1/2" thick.
  6. Cut in triangle.
  7. Bake on griddle or electric fry pan about 5 minutes each side.
