Nana'S Apple Pie

Ingredients

  • 8 to 10 chopped, peeled apples
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • dash of salt
  • 2 pie crusts
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine lemon juice and apples.
  2. In medium bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  3. Pour dry ingredients over apples and toss until coated.
  4. Pour mixture into 1 pie crust.
  5. Top with the other pie crust.
  6. Cut slits into top of pie crust.
  7. Dip finger into milk and dab onto the top crust.
  8. Seal crust along edges.
