Nicholas' Garlic Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. beef top round steak (1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 c. A.1. steak sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Instructions

  1. Combine steak sauce, oil, pepper and garlic.
  2. Place steak in plastic bag.
  3. Add marinade, turning to coat.
  4. Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator at least 1 hour, turning once. Remove steak from marinade.
  5. Place on rack in broiler pan so surface of meat is 3 to 4 inches from heat.
  6. Broil 15 to 18 minutes to desired doneness (rare to medium rare), turning once. Serve with parslied potatoes.
  7. Makes 4 servings.
