No Brown Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1 can vegetable soup, undiluted
  • 1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
  • 2 large potatoes, cut in chunks
  • 4 carrots, cut in pieces
  • 1 large onion, cut in chunks

Instructions

  1. Place meat and vegetables in covered casserole.
  2. Mix soups and Kitchen Bouquet and pour over.
  3. Bake 5 hours in a 250° oven.
  4. Add 1 large can of sliced mushrooms just before removing from oven. Minced garlic and chunks of zucchini are good.
  5. Add some water for more gravy.
