Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 package dry Lipton onion soup
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 frying chicken, cut up

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together rice and cream of chicken soup.
  2. Spread the rice mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan or roaster.
  3. Wash and drain the chicken pieces, then place them on top of the rice mixture.
  4. Sprinkle the dry Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with foil or a lid.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 2 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
