Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. ground sage
  • 2 tsp. ground thyme
  • 2 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 c. chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 4 qt. day-old bread cubes

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat butter and add sage, thyme, celery, and onion; sauté 5 to 7 minutes until the onion is tender.
  2. Add the chicken bouillon cube and boiling water; stir to combine.
  3. Add salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley; mix well.
