Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. ground sage ⓘ
- 2 tsp. ground thyme ⓘ
- 2 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery ⓘ
- 1 1/4 c. chopped onion ⓘ
- 1 chicken bouillon cube ⓘ
- 1/4 c. boiling water ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese ⓘ
- 1/3 c. chopped parsley ⓘ
- 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts ⓘ
- 4 qt. day-old bread cubes ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat butter and add sage, thyme, celery, and onion; sauté 5 to 7 minutes until the onion is tender.
- Add the chicken bouillon cube and boiling water; stir to combine.
- Add salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley; mix well.
