Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 c. cold water

Instructions

  1. Bring water to boil.
  2. Combine corn meal, sugar, salt and cold water.
  3. Stir combined mixture into boiling water, stirring constantly.
  4. Cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes.
  5. Pour into loaf pan and chill.
  6. Take out of pan and slice it.
