Ingredients

  • 1 c. Key lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 or 3 bird peppers or hot sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Add salt and bird peppers or hot sauce to Key lime juice.
  2. Allow the mixture to stand at room temperature for 1 or 2 days.
  3. Strain the liquid through a fine cloth such as cheesecloth.
  4. Bottle the strained liquid tightly and let it sit for 2 to 4 weeks before using.
