Ingredients

  • 12 red peppers
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Grind, chop, or process the red peppers.
  2. Add sugar and vinegar to the processed peppers and simmer until the mixture thickens.
  3. Pour the conserve into containers and freeze.
  4. To serve, mix with cream cheese or cottage cheese.
  5. Use as a dip or as a sauce over vegetables.
